Andrew Calabrese is Senior Mechanical Engineer and an Endoscopy subject matter expert with product development firm Goddard, Inc. Andrew holds several patents in medical device endoscopic technologies, including visualization methods, steering mechanisms, tip geometries, and peel-away introducers.
He has deep experience in taking medical devices from early concept to the marketplace, with exposure in manufacturing environments at Boston Scientific and Abiomed. Andrew led development activities of SpyGlass DS Direct Visualization with Boston Scientific, a minimally invasive, single operator, single-use digital cholangioscope for use in ERCP procedures.
Andrew holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Wentworth Institute of Technology. Outside of medical devices, he pursues a passion for motorcycle and car racing.
