As vice president of Global Marketing for the Surgical Robotics business at Medtronic, Mike Stow leads an incredible team that is responsible for portfolio strategy, upstream marketing, global marketing, communications, and regional marketing for Surgical Robotics. Mike is an accomplished business leader with over 14 years of experience developing and executing marketing strategies, much of that in the healthcare industry across devices, implants, capital equipment, services and software in surgery and imaging.
Prior to this role, Mike served as vice president of Global Marketing at Hologic for the Breast and Skeletal Health division, where he led upstream and downstream marketing activities, resulting in significant market share gains.
Prior to Hologic, he held roles of increasing responsibility at Medtronic/Covidien in the endostapling, hernia, and bariatric surgery businesses before becoming director of Global Marketing for Project Einstein, where helped form the strategy, value proposition and customer requirements for the Hugo™ robotic-assisted surgery (RAS) system.
Mike has a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University and an MBA from the Yale School of Management, with concentrations in Marketing and Strategy.
Mike lives in Madison, CT with his wife and two daughters.
