Eric Benjamin

Eric Benjamin is Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, where he leads the Company’s growth and innovation engine, setting strategy across products, markets, and commercial expansion. Mr. Benjamin previously served as our Chief Product and Customer Experience Officer from July 2023 until his promotion to Chief Operating Officer. From March 2022 to June 2023, he served as our Executive Vice President, Innovation and Strategy. Since joining Insulet in 2015, Eric has led the Company’s transformation into a digital-native platform business and overseen the launch of Omnipod DASH® and Omnipod 5®, the world’s first FDA-cleared, smartphone-controlled automated insulin delivery system. He previously served as Executive Vice President of Innovation, Strategy & Digital Products, and across a series of leadership roles has strengthened supply chain resilience, expanded into the type 2 diabetes market, and digitized the customer experience to boost engagement and satisfaction. Prior to Insulet, Eric held senior roles in R&D, quality, and operations at Abbott in the U.S. and Europe. He holds a B.S. in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research from the University of California, Berkeley; a Master’s degree in Bioengineering from the University of California, San Diego; and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
