Jaclyn Lautz oversees all product design and development efforts for ivWatch, a medical device and biosensor technology company specializing in continuous monitoring solutions for the early detection of intravenous (IV) infiltrations and extravasations. While she now serves as Vice President of Research & Development, she previously was Director of Regulatory Affairs & Quality Assurance for the company. Prior to her time in this position, Jaclyn spent many years working in the life sciences engineering space including roles as an advisory manager at Pricewaterhouse Coopers in pharmaceutical and life sciences operations, engineering innovation fellow at Applied Research Associates, a scientific research and engineering company, biomedical engineer at Semprus Biosciences and a software engineer in orthopedics. She is published in several physics and medical journals and holds a Ph.D. in mechanical engineering & materials science from Duke University.
