Matthew Heidecker, PhD, has a Bachelor’s Degree in Plastics Engineering Technology and a doctorate in Materials Science and Engineering, from Penn State University. His career experience spans from industrial goods to high-pressure high-temperature upstream oil and gas development applications to the medical device industry. Matt took the PSN Testing Lab to the next level, overseeing the process to certified under ISO/IEC 17025:2017 almost five years ago. Matt’s current focus is in the medical device industry combining the concepts of early intervention in the development phase, functional and clinically relevant testing, and performance analysis under actual use scenarios to ensure that safe, reliable, and effective medical devices are developed. Matt is the Vice President and Principal Scientist of PSN Labs.
