Sam Bruce, a Senior Mechanical Engineer and Program Manager at Tecan’s technology development group, Emphysys, brings a decade of experience in technical problem solving to the team. Over the past 8 years at Emphysys, Sam has been involved in developing and leading projects within the medical device field. His work has focused on implementing groundbreaking technology into complex systems.
Sam holds several patents relating to the control of RF medical devices and their interaction with the human body. With a passion for pushing the boundaries of multidisciplinary engineering, Sam continues to drive forward Emphysys’ mission of developing transformative technologies.
Sam holds a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from Northeastern University and an M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from Tufts University.
