Ashish Shah is the Vice President of Research, Development and Engineering at Viant responsible for the design and development of medical devices in the areas of minimally invasive surgical technologies, drug combination products, orthopedic instrument and devices and bio processing systems. Prior to his current role, Shah was the Vice President of Research and Development for the Advanced Surgical and Orthopedics division at Integer (formerly Greatbatch). In addition to these positions, he has led the development of and innovation in medical device power sources, instrumentation and materials.
He is energized when he is associated with science, engineering, innovation and teaching and remains enthusiastic about being involved with University at Buffalo, School of Engineering and Applied Sciences.
