At Medtronic, Dave works with corporate and operating unit leadership teams to complete relevant minority investments in high performing companies that are pursuing important new medical technologies. Following an investment, the MDT Ventures team engages with portfolio companies to help them succeed and advance patient care.
Dave has led over 20 investments since 2010, serving as a Director or Observer on around 25 Boards including IDEV (acquired by Abbott), superDimension (acquired by Covidien), TVA (acquired by Becton Dickinson), Medina Medical (acquired by Medtronic), PQ Bypass (acquired by Endologix), Entellus (Nasdaq:ENTL, acquired by Stryker), Inspire (NYSE: INSP), and NeuroPace (Nasdaq:NPCE).
Prior to Medtronic, Dave worked as a healthcare-focused strategy consultant and contributed to strategy, business development, and venture capital at Stryker and Covidien.
