Donny Patel is currently Chief of Digital Platforms and Innovation at Baxter International, a global leader in medtech. In this role, Donny leads digital innovation, digital health and connectivity platforms, and the commercialization of digital products globally for Baxter.
Donny has more than 20 years of experience in various healthcare sectors and a proven track record of leading complex and strategic initiatives in medtech, such as connected medical devices, care communication, data science, enterprise architecture, and cyber risk management. He has led IT initiatives and transformations for numerous health systems in the U.S. and globally, including Mt. Sinai International, Mt. Sinai Health System, and New York Health and Hospitals Corporation.
Donny holds a Master of Business Administration, a master’s degree in mechatronics engineering, a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, and several other professional certificates in technology.
