Jonathan Batiller joined Philips in 2017 and brings over 20 years of clinical, medical, regulatory affairs and R&D experience in medical devices and drug/biologic device combination products. He is the Head of Clinical and Medical Affairs, Health Economics and Outcomes Research, Image Guided Therapy at Philips
In his current role, Jonathan’s main focus includes ensuring relevant clinical and economic evidence strategies are contributing to the innovation and life-cyle roadmap of the portfolio. He is also transforming the organization’s capabilities by driving and adopting contemporary means of developing, generating and disseminating evidence of value to physicians, patients, health authorities and economic stakeholders.
Prior to Philips, Jonathan was the clinical leader accountable for some of the medical device business units at Johnson & Johnson MedTech. In that role, he led clinical and regulatory programs that enabled successful launches of numerous innovative and life-saving products through PMA, BLA, 510k and equivalent approvals worldwide. He also served as the clinical diligence leader in business development activities that led to several mergers and acquisitions of small- to medium-size medical devices and biotech companies. Jonathan has authored more than 15 peer-reviewed publications and numerous other scientific presentations in the fields of neurosurgery and hepatobiliary, vascular, aortic, cardiothoracic and general surgery.
