Kathryn Unger was named vice president, environmental, social and governance at Boston Scientific in 2022. She previously served in a number of global leadership roles at Cargill, most recently as vice president of North America Government Relations. Prior to Cargill, she worked for Cummins Inc. for nearly 10 years, leading the company’s global Rail and Defense engine business as well as other roles in business development and program management. She was also a tax consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers, and a teacher in the U.S. and in Colombia.
Fluent in both English and Spanish, Unger holds an undergraduate degree in education and a master’s degree in accounting from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and an MBA from Stanford University.
