As the Global President of the Electrophysiology (EP) business at Boston Scientific (BSC), Nick Spadea-Anello is responsible for leading the EP Division that is positioned to transform the ablation space with key products like the FARAPULSE™ Pulsed Field Ablation System and Baylis Medical. Nick is responsible for the EP strategic planning, annual operating performance, and product portfolio oversight from development to commercialization. With a primary focus on fostering close partnerships with top clinicians and hospital administrators worldwide, Nick ensures that Boston Scientific delivers safe, effective, and efficient clinical solutions to physicians and their patients.
With more than three decades of experience in the medical device sector, Nick has held key leadership roles at Johnson and Johnson and Boston Scientific. During his time as the Global President of the Structural Heart WATCHMAN business, he spearheaded one of the fastest-growing therapies and businesses at Boston Scientific. Under his leadership, the team successfully launched the groundbreaking WATCHMAN device in the U.S. and Europe, driving its global expansion and impacting over 400,000 patients.
Nick graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Accounting and Finance from Temple University.
