Samir Bhattacharyya, PhD, MS, MSc, serves as the vice president, Health Economics and Market Access (HEMA) and Global Value Marketing, Urology, Boston Scientific. In this role, he is responsible for leading a team of experts who work closely with payers, physicians and providers to help increase access to Boston Scientific technologies through value messaging, payer relations and evidence-based economics. Samir has 25 years of global experience in the medical device, pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries. His therapeutic experience includes urology, orthopedic, nephrology, oncology, cardiovascular and infectious diseases, and he has contributed to numerous publications in peer-reviewed medical and health economic journals. Samir holds a PhD in pharmacoeconomics & outcomes research from the University of Arizona Pharmacy School and a Master of Science in economics from the Eller College of Management at the University of Arizona.
